My Surprise Diamond

5 yr Mare - AKA Mini

39 inces November 05

My Surprise Diamond was quite a surprise to the whole farm. I heard about mini back in 05 from a friend of mine who insisted I must look at her. I drove up to Orange, Ma with my mother to see this little black and white mini mare. After one look at her she was a must have. I brought her home in October. Along with mini I bought a harness. Knowing how much my kids enjoyed driving already. I wanted my kids who were then was 5 and 6 to be able to learn how to handle horses with one their size. It was the perfect match.

In the spring of 06 we decided to breed her one time to get her a teammate. For we could not have one mini horse in a herd of drafts. So off we went to look for a stallion. When we came across Michigans Painted Rock, we knew he was the one. We liked him so much we decided to buy him. Aj and mini have been spending time together doing alot of in hand and agility. She is still in harness training due to the birth of her foal. (See Below)
